CaptureTech achieves ISO 27001 certification

CaptureTech has achieved ISO 27001 certification, the international standard for information security. The ISO 27001 contains guidelines for establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS). At a time when confidential and privacy-sensitive information is exposed to risk on a daily basis, ensuring information security is essential for any organization.

As our clients’ technology partner, we sometimes have access to important information. This brings with it the need to maintain its own information security at a high level. Certification to ISO 27001 demonstrates that we have our information security in place and maintained in a sound manner.

What is ISO 27001?

ISO 27001 is an international standard that focuses on information security within organizations. The ISO 27001 standard specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, executing, monitoring, assessing, maintaining and improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS). This system provides a methodical and process-based approach to securing confidential and critical information within an organization.

So we take a proactive approach to information security, investing in setting up the right processes that we guarantee by obtaining ISO 27001 certification. And implementing ISO 27001 minimizes the risk of security incidents, data breaches and unauthorized access to information.

Why ISO 27001?

ISO 27001 certification demonstrates that we are serious about information security and that we take appropriate measures to ensure the confidentiality, availability and integrity of information. That’s pretty important considering how many customers we help with our IT solutions. From mobile computing with our software in warehouses, to cloud migrations and cybersecurity. Information security is becoming increasingly important everywhere. For many customers, working with partners that meet ISO 27001 certification has become an absolute requirement. Not surprisingly, more and more organizations are taking the same step and getting certified.
