NIST:Recover

The Recover core function of the NIST framework focuses on restoring normal operations after a cyber incident or other crisis. This includes setting up systems and processes to quickly recover from an incident and resume normal operations.

This includes:

  • Developing an incident response plan and procedures for recovery after an incident.
  • Create a crisis communication plan for informing stakeholders about the incident and the recovery process.
  • Establish a business continuity plan (BCP) to ensure that critical processes can continue to function during an incident.
  • Testing the recovery plan and BCP to ensure their adequacy.
  • Regularly update and refine the recovery plan and BCP to ensure they are up-to-date and meet the changing needs of the organization.

The core function “Recover” helps organizations quickly recover from an incident and resume normal operations, reducing the impact of an incident on the organization.

Cyber Security Scan

Start easily and know immediately where you stand with the Security Scan. With this baseline measurement, we scan your current environment, including existing software and hardware and your security policies. Usually we can quickly identify some immediately visible risks, but we also come up with a comprehensive and in-depth report for your area. Should you subsequently choose our CaptureTech Cyber Shield subscription, we do this scan again every year.
