Extreme Networks’ WiNG AP 8432

The WiNG AP 8432 is a versatile access point from Extreme Networks designed specifically for deployments in high-density environments, such as stadiums, convention centers, shopping malls and airports. The access point supports the latest wireless technologies and offers high performance, reliability and security.

The AP 8432 offers dual-radio 4×4:4 802.11ac Wave 2, enabling data transfer rates of up to 1.7 Gbps on the 5 GHz band and 800 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. The access point also supports MU-MIMO, allowing multiple users to communicate with the access point simultaneously.

The access point features a ruggedized housing and has an IP67 rating, making it resistant to extreme weather conditions and environments. In addition, the AP 8432 supports Power over Ethernet for easy deployment and can be managed through Extreme Networks’ cloud-based management solution, ExtremeCloud IQ.

The AP 8432 also offers comprehensive security features, including 802.1X, WPA2-enterprise, VPN, and an integrated stateful firewall to ensure secure network access. In addition, the access point offers advanced QoS functionalities to optimize the performance and reliability of critical applications.
