Zebra’s RS5100 barcode scanner was already available as a ring scanner, worn on a finger. With the Hand Mount version, the scanner moves to the top of the hand using a glove with a built-in trigger at the thumb. This provides extra comfort and a more natural posture when working and scanning. This so-called wearable scanner is lightweight and therefore sits comfortably on the hand. But with a robust industrial design that gives the RS5100 a long life. The simple, point-and-shoot scanning method makes the work feel intuitive and requires virtually no additional employee training. Multiple LEDs can flash to indicate whether workers should go straight or turn left or right.
