MR36H Access Point
The MR36H includes an integrated Layer 7 inspection, classification and control engine, which allows configuration of QoS policies based on traffic type. This gives priority to mission-critical applications and places limits on recreational traffic such as peer-to-peer and video streaming. These policies can be implemented per network, per SSID, per user group or per individual user, for maximum flexibility and control.
Optimized for voice and video
Standard QoS features are built-in and easy to configure. Wireless MultiMedia (WMM) access categories, 802.1p, and DSCP standard support all ensure that important applications are given proper priority. Not only on the MR36H, but also on other devices on the network. Unscheduled Automatic Power Save Delivery (U-APSD) and the new Target Wait Time features in 802.11ax clients ensure minimal battery consumption on wireless VoIP phones.
