Softpak has been our partner for more than 10 years, and its customers are mainly located in major ports such as Rotterdam, Antwerp, Felixstowe, Dublin, Belfast and Helsinki, as well as in the Dutch Antilles, Cuba and Saudi Arabia.
With 50 employees continuously developing improvements and innovations, Softpak makes sure its software keeps pace with global technological developments. The head office is located in Ridderkerk, as are its two subsidiaries, Box-IT and BoxVision, which specialize in Container Depot & Repair and Container Terminal Management.

ProStore WMS
Softpak offers an integrated warehouse management system (WMS) called ProStore, specifically developed for logistics service providers. ProStore is designed for the storage of a wide range of goods, such as chilled and frozen products, metals, excise goods, hazardous materials, liquids, general cargo, bulk and breakbulk.
ProStore offers features such as EDI, barcode scanners, gate control, time slots, a customer portal, customs warehousing and fiscal representation. The software integrates seamlessly with CDS for customs processes and ProFor for forwarding.
Softpak Freight Forwarding System
ProFor is an advanced freight forwarding solution for forwarders that supports all common modes of transport, such as sea freight, air freight, road and rail transport. The planning board provides immediate insight into files, and the uniformly structured programs ensure a quick learning curve. ProFor is easily extensible and integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Office, online platforms, Softpak CDS for customs processes and Softpak ProStore for warehouse management.
Terminal Operating System
ProTerm is the solution for container terminals. Containers come and go by ship, train or truck, and the system registers all movements in real time on dashboards. For efficiency, they offer solutions such as Stacking Rules, an Order App for the reach stacker and integrations with RTG systems. In addition, you can monitor processes in real time with the 3D Yardview for an overview of the terminal, the Vessel dashboard for the loading and unloading of ships, and the Truck dashboard for truck movements.

Hoe zorgen we dat Softpak op de apparatuur overal in magazijn en yard goed blijft werken?
Door eerst een WiFi meting te doen (incl. roaming en drukke zones) en indien nodig te kiezen voor devices met 5G. Verder door Softpak-workflows te testen op de plekken waar dekking nu minder goed is (bepaalde paden, docks, staal/rekken, yard). Met centraal beheer via MDM kun je Wi-Fi-profielen en instellingen consistent uitrollen en support sneller oplossen.
Waar moeten we IT-technisch op letten als Softpak op nieuwe scanners, tablets of heftruckterminals moet draaien?
Denk aan 5 dingen: (1) welke Softpak-apps/flows op het device moeten draaien, (2) netwerk (Wi-Fi/4G) in magazijn/yard, (3) security & user-roles, (4) update-/releasebeheer van apps, (5) centraal beheer via MDM.
