The surprisingly rugged, thin and light Zebra tablets

Zebra’s ET51 and ET56 tablets are light, thin and look like a consumer product, but are designed to be dropped on concrete or plywood and withstand rain, snow, dust, extreme heat, sub-zero temperatures, spilled liquids and a pressure washer at full power.

Thanks to the Corning® Gorilla® Glass display, the tablet is shatter- and scratch-resistant. Best-in-class brightness means easy reading both indoors and outdoors, even in bright sunlight.

Use the so-called “Expansion Back” to add new features such as a 1D/2D scanner, a swivel hand strap and an additional hot swappable battery for 24-hour power. Docking charging solutions provide all the connectivity needed to turn the ET51 or ET56 tablet into a desktop computer for point-of-sale, receiving, shipping and other applications. WiFi, cellular and Bluetooth technologies provide highly reliable connections both inside your premises and in the field. The touchscreen works even when wet and with gloves on. The ET51 and ET56 are optionally available with 1D/2D scanner for both occasional and intensive barcode scanning.

With the ET51, you get best-in-class brightness, making it the easiest tablet to read in virtually any lighting conditions – including bright sunlight. This compact, small and lightweight 8.4-inch model is ideal when size and weight are most important.

Advanced touch screen technology
The high-resolution screen delivers sharp text and clear graphics for superior readability. The touchscreen works with a finger – even a glove – or a passive stylus for more precision. And even when the screen is wet, any input mode works.

Perpetual 24×7 x 365 battery power supply
To handle the longest shifts, add a second optional hot-swappable battery via the innovative expansion back to more than double battery life. The internal battery in the ET51 can be replaced in the field if necessary, extending the life of the product, increasing the return on your investment and protecting the productivity of your staff.

Advanced scanning
With the integrated SE4710 scanning engine, you can scan 1D and 2D barcodes at the industrial level. PRZM Intelligent Imaging and advanced algorithms ensure that virtually any barcode, in virtually any condition – damaged, dirty or poorly printed – is captured instantly and quickly. For occasional scanning, the integrated 13MP color rear camera captures high-resolution photos, videos, signatures and documents.
