CaptureTech reports it has completed the integration of the IT company IT-Innovators with the move to new premises in Nieuw Vennep. This launched a new proposition to offer IT for the office environment in addition to IT for logistics.
Offering office IT is new for CaptureTech. Maarten Anderson (CEO) explains, “For years, we have provided IT services for medium and large organizations with a logistics function by supplying and implementing mobile devices, warehouse software, WiFi, and 24/7 managed services. Frequently we were asked to also provide office IT, after which we had to refer these customers. Every time it turns out that the IT of the logistics side of our customers’ business and that of the office environment should go hand in hand. The data between the two environments are not separate. However, we saw more and more inefficiencies emerging. Reason for us to acquire an IT company that specializes in solutions for the office environment. We thus have a unique proposition in the market.”
CaptureTech will first roll out the new proposition among existing logistics customers. Anderson: “We get many requests from existing customers to take care of the IT for the office environment as well. We make logical connections with the IT for the intralogistics environment. Customers have one less point of contact and realize cost savings. For most of them it is a logical step. After the integration for existing customers, we will spread the proposition more widely towards medium-sized organizations with a logistics function.”
An additional reason is that IT in logistics has grown tremendously in importance and will continue to grow. With the acquisition, CaptureTech has now obtained hardcore knowledge on
